We are looking for matches and/or volunteers to help us raise money this weekend during Hawk Rocks the Park at Harris Park. On Thursday, Friday & Saturday (July 22, 23 & 24) from 12-8pm we will be charging a minimum $10 donation to park in the BBBSOLA parking lot.

Volunteers are needed to help take donations and arrange parking. Two-hour shifts are scheduled each day 12-2pm, 2-4pm, 4-6pm and 6-8pm. 4 volunteers are needed during each shift. 

If you are able to help out, please contact your case managers to sign up for a shift.

Thank you so much to Rogers TV for donating 36 Tickets to the Rogers TV Fun Day at the London Majors baseball game on Sunday, July 18th at 1pm.

Tickets are available free of charge for our matches. They are first come first serve, so please contact your case manager to reserve yours.

Our school-based program coordinator is gearing up for the fall 2010 in-school program line-up. We are now actively recruiting both Go Girls! and Game On! volunteer mentors. If you are between the ages of 18-25 and are enthusiastic about physical activity, nutrition and feeling good, then this is the program for you!

The committment required for these programs is approximately 2 hours per week. Sessions run once weekly for seven weeks in the fall and again in the winter. See our "Bigs" section for more information about these programs or email ckanters@bbbsola.org.

Camp staff have been busy putting together an awesome summer for all of our day-campers!  This year’s camp will include loads of fun trips and outings into the community.  Activities will range from going swimming, playing on a splash-pad, making some art, playing an instrument, baking, arts and crafts, and so much more! Our days will be geared towards learning new skills and having fun just being ourselves!

BBBSOLA is sure to be a busy place this summer!
