CEO Stepping Down

The Board of Directors wishes to announce the resignation of W. Matthew Chater as CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area effective July 8th, 2016.

Matthew’s involvement with the agency started in 2003 as a volunteer mentor, then joining the staff team as a Mentoring Coordinator in 2009 and most recently CEO. During his seven years with Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area, Matthew has helping the organization become one of the strongest agencies in the Country.   Although he is leaving the organization locally, Matthew will be continuing his journey within the Big Brothers Big Sisters movement as Vice President Service and Organizational Development, at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada.

For anyone who has had the pleasure to know Matthew you will immediately see his passion for Big Brothers Big Sisters and everything it aims to accomplish. His experience, commitment to youth, and his ability to build relationships have built a strong foundation at BBBSOLA.  His strengths will serve the National organization greatly and wish him the best in his new role.

If you have any questions I warmly invite you to contact myself.
