Find a Mentor
If you are between the ages of 5 - 18, you are eligible for a mentor!
Here’s how you get started:
- Ask your parent or guardian to make a call to us at 519.438.7065.
- During this initial intake call, we collect basic information about your family and why your parent/guardian thinks you could benefit from this program.
- Once all necessary information is collected, a Case Manager contacts you within 7 business days to arrange a time to come out to your home and complete an in home assessment.
- The final step before you are placed on the waitlist is for you and your parent/guardian to attend Child Safety Training at our Big Brothers Big Sisters home. Once complete, you’re in. All you have to do then is wait for a match!
Though matching can take several months, you are eligible to attend any programming we have at the agency with other children who are also waiting for a mentor. This includes our March Break and Summer Camps!!!
